![]() | Marsh Daisy The Marsh Daisy is a stunning bird with a rose comb, white earlobles and green legs. The Marsh Daisy was once thought extinct, however a small flock was discovered by Mr Ralph White in Somerset. We keep a small flock of currently 3 cock birds and 12 hens that we have travelled the country to source. The Birds came from 3 reputable breeder, one in Rochdale, one in west Wales and the last in Norfolk. We are hoping in time to increase our flock and try to get the three colours, Buff, Brown and wheaten to begin to breed colour true. This will be a long term project. |
| Welsummer The welsummer originates from the small village of welsum in the Netherlands. The welsummer is a Rustic red, orange colour. It is a light breed and very docile. The Welsummer lays rich dark brown and spotted eggs, which are a favourite of many consumers. We currently have eggs in the incubator which have been sourced from the Netherlands, this will bring new breeding lines to add to our flock. |
